Heading up to the cabin in a few days for a weeks or so, will be fishin the lehigh by White Haven, and some of my usual haunts. Looks like with the recent rains and cold water, things are picking up. Has anyone been fishing the lehigh? They stock the Wiss and Penney Parks by me in a few weeks but not sure if I will be around to fish that. Plus to many people around for the first week of fall stocking. I'll post a report when I get back.

I fished it Monday last week at Jim Thorpe, lost one decent trout but got into a bunch of smallies. The fishing has been pretty good up in the White Haven/Lehigh Tannery area and should only get better now. Good luck.
Remember to use enough weight in the deep pocket water.

Who cares about rain, you're and angler right? Unless they get a downpour up there from the possible tropical depression, the Lehigh shouldn't be blown out. Even if it is, that should mean the tribs will be the hot ticket with high, clearing water in early fall! Yeah, man I'd be out there with my raingear, flyrod, and a smile.
I hear ya, I'm single so I don't always think about that factor. I'll leave some in the river for ya!
