Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!
This is my first experience with a fly swap...so I fell it was seamless..no problems on my end, except the flies I sent may not be up to par...yes and TY to Mr. Brasko for organizing it....and I look forward to many more....hopefully.
I have placed the last batch of flies out in todays mail. All flies has been shipped. Again, please let me know when you receive them and don't forget your fellow swappers who tyed some really great looking flies.
Lightenup:
Thanks for the compliment and my next swap will not be until around October. I always hold swaps in the fall and winter and take the spring and summer off. I am glad you like the swap and look forward to you being in it again this fall.
Glad the flies are being received and happy that so far people have enjoyed the swap. I know you are thanking me and I truly do appreciate it. But you guys keep forgetting that the credit really belongs to you for participating and tying flies for all to have. Without you the swappers nothing would happen and people would not be pleased with the end result.
Just got home and found that my flies arrived today.
They all look great!!!!
Thank you to everyone who tyed such excellent flies. I'm fascinated by the subtle choices that some people make in terms of hook choice or a slightly different winging material; making an interesting change in the patterns and making these flies very special. This was my first swap, and I'm looking forward to the next.
Thank you Andy for coordinating all of this. You're of course being modest and a gentleman by deflecting the praise, but this swap wouldn't have happened unless you stepped up.
Got mine today. Thank you and I'll put them all to test very soon
I wish the flies would come in a week earlier as I could use the spinner on the Big D last week
