With the flies received and AK’s picture of his flies, Everyone is truly going to be quite surprised at the tying talent that we have on this board.

I recieved AKSkims flies today in the mail, another fine batch of flies. Just a note to all that the flies are due to me by March 30, 2012. I plan to sort them, photograph them and get them in the mail. The game plan is for everyone to have the flies by opening day of Trout season. Thanks to all for making this a successfull swap, so far.

I recieved Tomk's fly this past Sunday at Shannons, My flies are almost completed and will be good to go over the weekend. The due date is approaching, just a reminder for all.

All my flies are done and I realized they aren't all the same color

They are all the same style fly but I tied a few different colors.

4 natural
4 olive
4 black
4 golden

I tied FB mercury PT's

Is this ok? If not it's not really a big deal I can tie them all the same.

And you guys can choose the color.

If not I can get them in the mail today.

Hi Everyone:

I received G Lechs flies on Saturday when I came home from fishing. Nice flies G. lech. I am working on some TU stuff tonight that has to get done and will start the sorting of the swap flies on Tuesday evening. Flies will be getting placed into the mail this week. I want to thank everyone for their flies and feel everyone will be happy with the flies they will receive. There is a lot of good talent in this swap. Lastly I have not recieved any correspondance from simms on his flies. I hope all is well with him. He never in the past missed a swap and hope all is well.

I have sorted the swap flies and they wil be placed in the mail tomorrow and Wednesday. I am mailing out the easy ones that has postage, address and envelopes made out and the rest will be placed in the mail on wednesday when I have a tad more time on my lunch hour and no scheduled meetings.

I have taken all the extra flies that every one tyed and have distributed them amounst all of you so that means you get one or two duplicates from somebody else. I want to thank everyone that participated in this swap for making it a success. Will everyone please be so kind to post when they receive their swap flies in the mail. Again thanks to all the swappers. You guys are the best. G. Lech, I appreciate you making the effort of getting flies to me and keeping the swap from going south. I did change my pattern to flies that would work when you recieve them. I did not want to send Blue Duns since in most places they have come and gone. This weather really screwed up all the hatches this year.

Thanks TomK, Sometimes swaps go perfect and sometimes become difficult and others just minor curve balls. The bottom line is that the flies get to everyone in the swap.
