Fishizzle, I use worms but I'm looking to upgrade!
Hey guys, I'm starting to amass a lot of flies I've tied and am looking for some better solutions to store them (even the bad ones).
Right now, I'm working with two plastic fly boxes that each have one flat foam insert and one ribbed foam insert. I'm typically storing larger flies like streamers on the flat side and nymphs/wets on the ribbed side. This has worked, but when I started to tie up dries, I ran into a problem. I noticed that the hackle on the dries is getting bent and otherwise messed up when I leave them on either side of the boxes. So, I have added a rather cheap platic compartment box to the mix.
Does anyone have any suggestions on a good all purpose box? Does anyone use anything other than compartments to store their dries? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
