Fishing Sunday - AndyB

DaveR

Combat Fly Fisherman
Hi Andy,

Sunday's up in the air right now. The baby is still in the hospital and the missus might need some moral support. It's a stressful time. If I go, I'll drop you a last minute line. Otherwise, I should be able to get out one day during the week or next weekend once he's home. What's your flexibility for a weekday?

Regards,
Dave

Andy B, RW here

I hope your wet flies are all tied and ready for the "Gathering". Mine are. See ya on the willow in two weeks.

Later, RW

RW:

Don't worry, I have Black Princes, GreenWells Glory, Captains, Black Turkeys, I will be tying a few more patterns. I will be tying up thier as well. I do plan a night or two of private time to drink a beer, listen to a ballgame and tye some flies. I will be tying ap a few cahills. I was also thinking about some white Millers.

Andy, i'd like you to get with me asap! We need to set aside a couple nights specifically when you will be demoing the wets. And we need to decide if you want to do that where all the rest of us will be tying (Rockland House) or in the smaller, more private location at the Reynolds House? Actually i think you'll have no problem over at the Rockland House. Perhaps you could do that the first couple nights and see who would like to really "have a lesson," so to speak. Remember some guys will not even be here except for the weekend or for some part of the week. Lemme know. mark.........

Mark:

How about I call you Wednesday or Thursday evening. Which night is best for you. No problem in tying a few nights at all. If you think the Rockland is know problem, then I will tye over there. We will use the Reynolds house if its a bit to loud and I have some people truly wanting a more lesson type environment. I will be coming up as my first day at the Reynolds house on Monday May 31, 2004. I will be up in the mid to late morning. I will fish and then get my room and where will people be gathering at that evening. I will be leaving to go home on Sunday June 6th.

P.S. I thought the Fairwell Dinner was A Saturday night on June 5th. Am I thinking wrong or do I have it right.

Andy, first you have it right. The fairwell diner IS on Sat. night June 5th. Did you see something that confused that? If you like call me tomorrow night at 8:30, i'll be offline so the call can get thru. Last year most or more of us ate at the Rockland House just about every night, if not every night. You can eat and they have T.V. (sports) in the bar, and a lot of guys like that. They also have an all you can eat soup and salad bar, ($6.95 i think) and a lot of guys like that too. LOL. IF, however you don't get there before 9:00 p.m. on the weeknights, your gonna be outta luck. The Riverside does serve til 9:30 p.m. on weeknights. But that's another 15 miles round trip there and back, unless your already down that way fishing. The food there is very good. You may think about fishing down that way one eve. and having dinner there. Your wife might appreciate that. Call me as soon as you hit town on Mon. the 31st. mark..........CFTG meeting this Thur.
