Was there last Saturday, my first time on this river. Fishing was very tough, only caught one brown late in the day, my partner caught nothing. It was a great time, but was surprised not to see much happening. Guess I just was there on the wrong day.

Was there last Saturday, my first time on this river. Fishing was very tough, only caught one brown late in the day, my partner caught nothing. It was a great time, but was surprised not to see much happening. Guess I just was there on the wrong day.

The whole system was dead last saturday for some reason. Conditions seemed pretty good, but no bugs to speak of. The guides were blaming on the warm sunny days prior to Saturday, which (maybe) pushed the hatches toward late in the day.

A couple buddies and I floated all day and spent it staring at the water, wondering why nothing was happening.

you should have been there Friday eve... on sat the fish didn't eat because they were too full from chowing so hard Friday eve

I've had some real good days on the EB. I've had more days showing the same giant brown every fly in my box perfectly with no takes.
