Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!
So I have couple different Crayfish patterns tied up, big question is how do I fish them for trout? Can you guys give me pointers, do I swing them, strip the?.....

Ok, not to bust your balls, but let's think for a second (nice punctuation btw). We're fly fisherman, we posses deductive reasoning skills, right? Where do crayfish live? How do they move (when frightened vs. normally)? What happens when they're injured or dead? Answer these questions and you will answer your own question.
totally matters. Fast moving water they kinda just dead drift. Most of the year fish will always go after deaddrifted streamers. its an easy meal whenever no matter what the temps are like. I like to make alot of my streamers and crayfish look fleshy so it looks all beat up and looks great in the dead drift. slow water or static water of course strip it but I really like the dead drift on a crawfish
I agree with Skipper, and I like to dead drift but a little bouncing/twitching rod raise as it drifts. Sometimes the upward motion causes some very hard and exciting strikes. .
