Great show and good patterns to use. What was the wing material used for the emergers
that looked like CDC ? I know you mentioned it but I didn't hear it clearly.

In the original recipe,the wing material is the filoplume from the base of any type Chicken Hackle.
Myself I use CDC Puffs for the wing.

Thanks Mike, I've used those before on the bottom of caddis emergers. They do make the
fly very buggy looking, like the pupa's exploding out of the casing. But I guess using CDC
puffs may help raising the fly with any trapped air in the CDC from the bottom on the swing.

great presentation, i read a lot of material about all aspects of fly fishing and i don't think i've ever gotten so much good information in such a short time. And just so Ober doesn't feel like the complete junior of the group, my friend and i were there and we are both 25 so theres a few of us young guys around.

Yea Mike decided that he won't post here any longer but that's his decision.
Myself I figured that I'll post here, I have no problem with it.
Plus sometimes AK needs someone to have his back.
