How is that creek you took me to doing? Man, that place was like an aquarium.
I fished the gorge yesterday after work until dark. Fish were pretty active. Caught a bunch of really pretty stockies. Are these kamloops? They had a very vibrant pink stripe. Found one little inconspicuous run that seemed like it would get ignored. The first 8 casts brought 5 regular sized rainbows to hand so when I cast my caddis emerger to the head of the run where current ran under a rock I braced myself for the best fish in the pool. Ended up being my largest nj trout (18''-20'') on the fly to date. Just an overgrown stockie but it was still cool to hook into a fish like that on a 3 wt.

Haven't fished it because of the low water, but last time I went last year it was still an aquarium of wild browns......I have to get TT there, I promised I would....he might be a bit perturbed I haven't taken him yet...
The Kamloops like to jump and have a nice green back, they fight a lot better than the NJ stockies, you will know when you catch one....
