Lately I have been noticing that the AMERICAN ANGLER magazine has
shifted a good part of their magazine to cover salt water fly fishing as well.

To me it is taking away from the magazine a great deal.

I for one don't care for it.

The same publisher recently stopped printing Saltwater Fly Fishing.

It's possible that they had paid for some SW articles, and had no other place to print them.

Let's hope they eventually go back to "normal".

If that is so, they will run AA down the drain with SWFF.

Probably reflects a change in market trends, I don't think they would make an arbitrary decision. Of course, they should have consulted with you first, AK.

As a long time loyal subscriber of American Angler I agree with you they should have.

Very happy you posted that for me... I feel better.

Now I don't have to drag these out into the backyard and burn them in protest tomorrow morning.

In reality, probably reflects the disturbing trend of most publishing lately, which is the homogenization of all of their stories. Pick up four or five different print mags for the same month or season, and the stories are very rarely distinctly interesting, and are often almost the same.

Have you picked up a FlyFusion lately ? I've been disappointed by American Angler lately, but not many others out there are much better.

I all seriousness I couldn't agree with you more.

At one time I couldn't wait for American Angler to arrive. The recent copy has been in the house for a while and I just picked it up this afternoon.

Nothing that perked my interest in this edition.

It appears that the two magazines were combined.
I found this
