A streamer

I tied this fly for a friend....I guess I would call it a streamer...He is going to fish for Northern Pike in Manitoba with it......He is flying into lakes that have never been fished, or fished very very little.......I tied him a bunch of them, I hope they work...he seemed happy when I gave them to him......What do you think?

Pretty sweet fly. I tie my pike flies a bit larger but I am sure it will get something to hit it. pink, white, orange always works. I like the flash. Does it go under the belly too?

Yes..there is flash under the tail that goes halfway up the body like the flash on the side.....I would think that they should be a bit bigger as well, but I do with what I have...maybe I should attach two hooks with some wire, and articulate it for more size.....

I would just extend it with some angel hair. its my new favorite material. Great for translucency and adding length. moves nice too. I replace a lot of my bucktail streamers with it. Put it on a deceiver and it looks really really cool

Really Skipper, I don't think pasta will add anything to the fly....

Thanks I will look into Angel hair....haven't seen it yet, but I am no material junkie.....

The results..sorry it wasn't Manitoba, it was Saskatchewan....
