A Red & Black Spey

Tying up some show flies for a frame or two to display at the Symposium this year. This is the first of a dozen or so I will be working on in the next few days.

Hook AJ 1.5
Thread black 8/0
Tag oval gold tinsel
Tail golden pheasant crest
Rear body scarlet red floss front black seal fur dubbing
ribs small oval gold tinsel thorax medium embossed flat tinsel
Hackle blue ear pheasant
Throat green wing teal
Wing bronze mallard
Cheeks jungle cock

Thank you TF! The hook gap on these is a half inch or a bit less so they are legal on the Salmon.
