Can I block posts, emails and messages from specific users?
If there are particular members that bother you and you do not want to see their posts or receive Private Messages and Emails from them, then you can add these members to your 'Ignore List'. There are several ways to do this:
Through your User Control Panel: User CP, Settings & Options, Edit Ignore List. Then, type their name into the empty text box and click 'Okay'.

I actually like it so much better when I am called names and such.

That way I know I got under your thin skin.

Putting me on ignore is the next highest step...

Having someone POST they are putting me on their ignore list is next.

Having them (like Kevin) PRETENT to have me on their ignore list above that.

Responding to one of my posts and STILL PRETENDING to have me on their ignore list is next.

Having them ask DC to cancel their membership is the next step up.

Having them write a long self pity filled reason why they are leaving NEFF because of me is the next step... (I often wondered if they write that crap hoping someone will say.. "Don't leave we need you!" ?? Nobody ever does anyway)

Actually I was busting MACFLY a little...
But yes, It would appear that almost half of the posts recently are gone! It may even be that way across all the boards!

I don't really care who sees my profile.

I don't understand why someone would need more than one screen name, but even our host DC has mentioned that there are some people that do this. I suspect they cut the cord from their Dungeons and Dragons or Hairy Porter lan party crap too early?

hhhhmmmm...I've refrained from spewing political commentary on the board for the last month or so...perhaps I should start up a new screen name just for that?

(The ipad reminds me of a "space pen". For $250 you can write upside down in space. For $2 i could get a box of no.2's...nice yellow ones...and still you can write upside down in space. Of course, none of this applies to fly fishing gear, though. The fish I catch on the $775 rod are much larger than those I catch on the used $50 rod...)

The success of this product will be directly determined to how well it's marketed. If Allppile can convince users that they need an incredibly expensive tablet it will certainly be a home run. They certainly have learned a few things since the Newton...

Well the return on my money has been great thus far both in the technology and in the stock

My Prediction on the I-Pad. Success is pre-ordained. Somewhere jeff Bezos is curled up in the fetal position clutching his kindle For 500 bucks you get an e-book reader, MP-3 player. video player, portable gaming device,..plus an ecosystem of ISVs and developers who profit nicely from writing apps for the platform. Its a done deal and yes they have learned a lot since Newton
