5th Annual One Bug™

This years fifth annual One Bug™ event is the weekend of April 27, 28, and 29. The One Bug begins with a dinner and auction on Friday evening, April 27th at the Old Capitol theater, 170 Front Street, Hancock NY, followed by two days of team fishing led by the best guides on the Delaware.

All Profits are used to protect, preserve and enhance the ecosystem and cold-water fishery of the Upper Delaware River System including any environmental threats to the area.

There's just one team spot open and the Friday night event is filling up nicely too. This year should be even better than the prior years. So far the One Bug has raised over $100,000 that has gone 100% into spawning tributary habitat restoration on Sands Creek and others. Hope you'll be there again as the "official photographer"

I'm looking forward to this! I've attended each year with the exception of the first year. The event's cause is still the same but the food keeps getting better! The chef's do an outstanding job. When I'm not taking pictures, I'm usually bobbing around talking to people about fishing and photography.

The pits will be fired late Friday afternoon at the Hancock Fire Department Fireman's Park on the East Branch. Anyone in town early, feel free to stop down.

The menu Friday night will be Hickory Smoked Berkshire Pork Shoulder, Slow Roasted Fireman Style Free-Range Chicken, Roasted and Seasoned Kernel Corn, Head Country Potato Salad, and Fresh Country Rolls.

This really is a great cause. Anyone who enjoys the resource should really come out, have a good time, and show FUDR some love.
