Super Pupa
I stopped by a wild brookie stream on Saturday before heading for bigger water. Caught a handful of trout in about an hour and a half and the first fish of the season on a dry fly. Nothing big, but the colors on these fish more than make up for it.
Also included is a picture I took of a small snake as it was trying to climb out of the water up onto a rock. I didn't notice until zooming in on the photo today, but it seems that rock is a snake magnet. There are at least 3 other ones in that picture, on and around that big rock.

This is from another river I fished that same day. I think it's a BWO spinner. The tails on this mayfly were VERY long compared to its body. There were plenty of these guys around, along with a LOT of caddis, stoneflies, and some hendricksons thrown in here and there.
