It all depends on the rod company. Some have always just warrantied for manufacturing defect. Others will repair or replace the rod no matter how it breaks.

The shortened float would be the one from Lordville to Long Eddy since there are guides who are looking for ways to to skirt the PA fees to use the PA launches. It's a wild & scenic river. Leave it that way. There isn't as great a need for more access as there is for a more equitable water...
