Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!
What a humble guy (HLR)... Here I am on the B-kill catching a bunch of 10" trout and every time I looked up, the HLR would have a 17 - 18" (Measured) on line. I couldn't believe this guy. Damn you HLR, Damn you!
Over at Hale Eddy, I hooked into a few monsters. One of them I was able to...
Last week I dropped by my favorite fly shop, Catskillflies. After talking with Walt and Dennis for a while, they convinced me to try out the T&T LPS 9' 5wt rod.
For approximately 395.00, the LPS is a nicer rod than its big brother, the $495 Paridigm. I was able to easily cast 75+ feet of line...
The rivers sure are looking really good for this weekend. If you can get out, get out! I'm talking Catskill region of course.
The water temps should be perfect tomorrow. Hopefully it will be partly cloudy like the weather calls.
Plan on fishing fly's from size 18 down to 26. Sulphers / BWO...
My favorite site for checking the daily stream conditions (River flows / hatches) is by far, Catskillflies.com. They don't bs you with stuff like this: Flies are all over the place and our onsite pro has been catching 22" Wild trout all over the Beaverkill / Westbranch. My opinion they give...
I'm not sure yet. I have the day available, but I'm concerned with the water temps.
I think tomorrow it's going to be cloudy in the AM. Maybe it would be worth a 1/2 day trip to the catskills.
Anyone wanna meet up anywhere? Maybe Skip T can take me for a ride down the Delaware in his 26...
Upon request, I've added a link under the Main Menu called, "FFF Conclave Info!". Please take a look if you get a chance. Of course you can just CLICK HERE FOR CONCLAVE INFO, to see the same info.
Thank You

A few months ago, I posted my resume on this weBsite with hopes of finding a new eMployer. I'd like to thank all of you who looked at my resume, and a Bigger thank you to those who responded via this site or via eMail with prospective positions within your company or withIn a company of a...
:) Maybe not, please explain.
And ask him what, "Excuse me sir, would you mind changing your mind about River Road?" Thanks, but no thanks.
It sounds like you've already spoken to him. What did he say?
I think I know what I need to know, but it sounds like you've already got the answer to this...
Anyone know if they'll be releasing water from the reservoirs this week? It looks like the weather will heat the river up quite a bit this coming week. It's been 3 weeks since I've been able to fish, and by the looks of things this weekend will just add another to the tally.
There's always...
I found this on the DRC website and was wondering a few things.
Does the violinist actually float with you and play for you while you're fishing and landing that big brown? Does Fabio actually float next to you in another boat and cook while you're fishing?
:)
As you can see, I'm a bit bored...
Looks like I'll be heading out to the West Branch on Sunday with my father. I'm sure it will rain like crazy from Friday on, rising the streams and discoloring the water, making the fishing lousy.
Anyone else heading out?
Drove past the South Branch yesterday around 3:30pm. The water level looked slightly high and chocolate.
When I left my father's house around 7:30, the water cleared up considerably. I can only imagine that the water is perfectly fishable today.
Get out there!
QUOTE - Art Flick on Stocked Trout and Selective Trout.
Smaller trout have not reached this degree of selectivity, especially in the streams where legal-sized fish are stocked. Most fish caught today are from seven to ten inches long and have not been away from the hatchery long enough to know...
I know this isn't Dice.com, but I'm starting to sweat.
Anyone know of any companies hiring Software Integration people?
I'm out of a job at the end of June.
I've attached my resume to this message. If you know of someone who requires any of the skills noted in my resume, please forward it to...
