Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!
Looks like water temps have dropped down into the comfort range on even the non tailwater rivers.Nightime temps in the upper forties forcast for the next few nights in the Hancock area. Yeah ! We can all spread out again.
EBW these fish are in worse shape than you know. NYDEC has given up on the temperature target at HANKINS. I my opinion all fishing south of Gamelands on WD and Harvard on EB SHOULD BE CLOSED until cold water releases are increased significantly or we get some precip. If you care about these fish and I think you do as was evidenced by your crying about mag. articles, you should be leading the way in protecting these fish. Prove to the world that you are not as selfish as you seem!

Sib,
If you check the "available parameters" for the Beaverkill http://waterdata.usgs.gov/ny/nwis/uv/?site_no=01420500&PARAmeter_cd=00065,00060,72020,00010
it show that you can see the gage height, temperature & discharge, or all 3 parameters. However some sites may only have 2 readings & others only have 1 reading. It depends on how the gauging station is set up.
