Waist high waders

Thinking about the Simms G3 waist high or Headwaters convertable. Anyone use them? Thought on difference between G3 and headwaters?

I have the previous generation G3 waist high waders and love them. Going on 5 years of use with no issues. I friend of mine has the Freestones and he is equally as happy with them and they are $200 cheaper, made with the quadralam material which breath nice and hold up well as that is what my Extreme waders are made of. I have about 5 years of winter use on those and no issues to date. You can't go wrong with either, but I would avoid the convertibles, they are bulky.

Why not just use shorts? The worm in your pants is hardly a snack so I wouldn't worry about any water creatures being interested in that.

I remember seeing you after a day of wet wading on the upper D. You skin color was that of a Smurf.

Did some wet wading myself yesterday here in NJ for some small brook trout. I knew the water was cold but didn't know how cold till I took the water temp when I left at 1:00pm. It was 46°. Thankfully there was only a few times when I was standing in thigh deep water. Surprising how warm those Simms wading booties keep your feet. Your body heat just warms the water soaked in the bootie like a wet suit.

At least like everyone else, I don't get shrinkage. Did you notice that?!?!

Hey by the way looks like Little Italy suffered another fire.
