Anyone else spend any time fishing it? I did for an hour or so tonight and ended up with one smallie on a popper and a bluegill on a streamer. Fished it from shore. Wanted to know if it is safe to wade. Definatly going to take my kayak out on it.

Hours of fun for panfish from the banks, no need to wade. Enjoy the yak too.

I used to fish that place when I was younger. It has a excellent population of crappie and largemouth bass. I dont think there were any smallies in there. You should do well with the bass on the yak fish big bass streamers.

He was definitely a smallie. I heard the same thing that there were very few to non in there so i was surprised.
