Todays Awesome Trip

Me and a buddy wanted to try some luck for wild Brookies and Browns today. So we hopped in my truck and of we went, on arrivel the temp was 27 we suited up and started walking after a few minutes you could see the stream. We fished a combo dry fly w a nymph drop, he tells me go ahead so i went first cast and i missed the set. Second cast got him on the dry, buddies first cast got him on the nymph. Wow the day just started great, it was snowing the whole day the temps got as high as 34 but we had tons of fun. We caught fish on both dry's and nymph's and a lil fire def warmed us up on this cold day with ice in the guides.

Thanks for convincing me to come out on that cold snowy day. I had a blast. We"ll have to hit it once it warms up a bit,hopefully the brookies will be more willing next time.

I got out on Sunday, avoided the Gorge, heard it was packed. Had a great time. Fish coming up all over. I ended up with 10, many many more were lost. Spoke to a couple other fly fisherman. Everybody was nice and pleasant made me glad to be part of the sport. Normally I hate everybody. A few quick shots of the larger ones I got.

It only looks like I have a death grip. Most of them swam off eventually. Kidding!
