The William Joseph Riptide

I just go a Riptide and used it for the first time today. I fount that as I walked it slid down, I had the straps as tight as I could but it did not help. Does anyone else use the riptide and have you had this issue? I like the pack but was not happy today.

Im going fishing again and tonight Im going back to my Fishpond vest. I love the idea of A waist pack but it seams not to work for me.
