It started out on the West Branch delaware, at Hell or high water film fest.
The boys at West Branch Angler really pulled it off this year, Great time.
Two days of warm weather, lots of fun, but no TROUT.
So monday morning we are off to Naples to visit Neversink Jimmy and do some fishing deep in the Everglades
Jimmy takes us up the Ferguson river which is so small a flats skiff can not make it through.
after many miles of super tight travel it opens up to a beautiful bay to do some fly casting.

The canopy is so cool, we
actually had a Tarpon launch right into the trees
so no people = no pressure and happy fish

So we end the day with a baby Tarpon blowing up on a top water popper fly and get it in the boat

So my son says to me "Dad, I had a great day, Why do you think a lot of other kids go to Disney and have pretend adventures
when they can have real ones." I didn't know what to say, but I sure had a big smile!
I guess starting them out early helps
