six mile run?

I just moved to somerset, and i pass by six mile run on my way to work,(Rt. 27) i know it feeds the resevoir which holds fish, i couldnt find any info on the stream itself though. Does anyone know if its fishable?

What resevoir? There was supposed to be a resevoir, and land was set aside. It never panned out and is just a state managed area now.

I have never fished it but have walked along it for some length. I'm sure it has a typical mixed bag of central NJ warmwater fish in it. Bluesgills, some small largemouths, suckers, shiners/dace, snapping turtles, etc

Also gets very low at times.

Yep, six mile run is the usual bag, but it also has smallmouth.
