If your keeping it, pretty sure you can have the rod reheated and massaged striaght.

I recently took a class on bamboo rod building and hopefully using heat gun, I can straight them out as needed. I got the ferrules to fit over the weekend and waiting for components to arrive to start building the rod. Thanks for your advice.
