Sage Switch A-Axis 7110 - custom

LyNcH

Dries, wets, nymphs and streamers...it's all good!
I am selling my Sage 7wt switch rod. I built this rod for myself in October 2009 for steelhead fishing. After a winter worth of fishing, I only used it 3 or 4times and need the money for a particular saltwater rod I've been eyeballing. There is nothing wrong with this rod, it just seems silly for me to keep a rod I didn't use around. I used Rio Steelhead/Salmon 9wt line on the rod and am be including it as well. As you can tell from the pictures below, the rod is in very nice condition.

This rod, brand new from the factory is $725 and the line is $69. Sage warranties all of their blanks for life and a warranty card is not issued with them. The fore/butt (4”) and front (11.25”) grips super grade cork with cork composite trim. The reel seat is a double up-locking seat & the spline aligned guides and tip-top are Hopkins and Holloway. The thread work is done using Gudebrod Garnet colored thread combined with sections of black and gold trim. I went with a darker theme when making this rod. I used 2 thin coats of rod finish epoxy. It has the Sage logo on one side of the rod above the grip and ”Eric lastname 10-09” in gold on the other side. Please note, when the reel is mounted on the rod, the Sage logo is upside down. The rod does not have a factory tube and sock, however fits perfectly in the Sage 37" rod/reel case (not included).

I am selling the rod and line for $500 which includes shipping (US - lower 48 states). Shipping to Canada or AK/HI is extra. Money order, bank check or paypal ($10 extra for their fee)

After looking at the pictures once posted, the stripper guide foot is not foggy as it appears in the picture.
