I am selling my custom built 5 weight Sage 99 rod. I built this rod for myself a few years back and it has served me very well. The 99 series rod was designed for nymph fishing and it certainly excels throwing multi-fly rigs with or without an indicator.
This is the rod featured in the second half of the "building a single hand graphite rod" blog I posted a few years back. It's also the rod I'm using in the below signature photo releasing a landlocked salmon in Maine.

Included with the rod is a 10' St. Croix partitioned rod tube and a used Rio Indicator 5wt fly line.
Sage rod blanks, marked with the "B" after the 599-4, carry a lifetime warranty regardless of the owner. If anything happens to the rod down the road, let me know.
