I have a Sage 99 model - 9'9'' 8-weight 4-piece rod.
I used this rod for one season fishing for lake run steelhead in NY. Aside from some minor cork soiling, the rod is in mint condition. I am the original owner of this rod and never got around to sending in the warranty card, so the originial, blank warranty card would be included with purchase of this rod. I did lose the original Sage tube but is being stored in, and would be shipped in, an aftermarket plastic tube. Does include original tan Sage rod sock.
I'm asking $300. I did not upload any pictures but could certainly provide some upon request. Further, I live in Hunterdon County and would be glad to meet with any prospective buyer prior to purchase.
This stick is really nice for NY streams. It is a deeper-loading rod that is designed for chucking nymphs...it does have great lifting power, and roll casts quite well.
I traded off a 10' Z Axis after I decided I liked the 99 better than the 10' Z Axis. I traded that 10' rod for an 11' Z Axis switch and am hooked on the switch rod. So, this now leaves the 99 as a backup, and I already have one for those waters.
Lastly, if I get this rod sold, I could also part ways with a Lamson Konic 3.5 with spare spool. I could also sell rod, reel, spool, and keep the 'in fairly good condition' Rio Gold line on the reel with Orvis gel-spun backing, too.
Feel free to send me a private message if you have any interest.
Thanks,
Mark
