I'm selling off my Sage Z-Axis rod. It's a 9.6' 5wt rod in great condition. I hardly used it. It's a factory rod with the cloth sock and aluminum case.

$425.00 which includes shipping to your front door.

If there's any interest, I'll post pictures.

AWWWWW Dennis,

Im not a real big Sage guy. I just was never impressed with their rods. Dont really know why, I have casted quite a few of them but never really ike the feel of them. Now this was a good many years ago and they might have changed so I really cant say or judge the newer rods.

Maybe we can meet some place so I can try it out if you'd like.

Why are you selling it??

Peace
Dan

Is this the rod with termites in the cork grip?

Between you and me, last season I accidentally caught hopper with a wooly bugger dropper up on one of the glass ferrules and cracked it. It's only a hairline crack and will go unnoticed by anyone without the know how to detect it. You have a marble eye so the rod won't be an issue for you.. The rod still performs great. Also, as beetle mentioned... the termites in the cork.
