NY deer camp

Just back from a great trip with my two buddies and our gaggle of "yoots" up at the one buddy's 185 acre farm in Otsego County outside Cooperstown. Lots of snow always makes for easy hunting, and this year was no different. Seven hunters in camp, and we filled 6 tags (5 bucks and a doe on a landowner tag).

Nothing like Deer Camp. Great time to get out and appreciate your friends and the abundance of wildlife in New York. Bon Apetit.

I had one of the worst seasons ever. Must have some kind of stink on me or something.

That was me last year. This year I shot 3 decent bucks so far and one baldie. Now I'll probably just take my daughter out and help her get her deer with her crossbow instead of continuing to hunt myself.
