Things are looking up folks. Right on the heels of a great decisions by the DRBC, comes another wonderful development by the city. In an article in the New York Times by, Anthony DePalma on April 24th titled, Water Woes Put Catskills Golf Resort in Doubt, the city has apparentaly done the right thing again, with the DEP withholding permits on a development to be called Belleayre at Catskill Park. The DEP said, the development "does not embody enviornmentally responsible growth." YES!!!!!!! Another feather in our cap, so to speak. TGF has been fighting (against the development) this for some time now. See guys, it pays to stay involved. Sometimes it's hard to believe that these huge buracracies will do the right thing, but they sometimes do.
