New Spey Green Machine

Here is a fresh tye a chartreuse and green spey can't wait to give it a go when the steel arrives ! This one is tied on a Alec Jackson 1.5. Enjoy!

The Green Machine is a classic atlantic salmon bomber that I hear it also fishes well sub surface for steelies.

Nice tie maybe go a little sparser on the hackle next time.

Thank you Theartoflee I'm glad there is a bomber named green machine. This is a spey and with the heavier hackle it gives it a larger profile when moving through fast water than it's sparsely hackled counter parts when these hit the water the hackle explodes or opens up and gives you a larger profile .Where the sparser hackled fly's pull tight in fast water thus having a smaller profile then the one I have tied. I have enjoyed catching fish on them you should give them a try some day they swim great!
