Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

Hey everyone. I'm new to this forum and just wanted to say hey and am really looking forward to chatting with you all. I love fly fishing for trout and will always try and convince others to enjoy it as well.

Hi Nymph,

I live in PA too and fish streams within fifty miles of York. This is a great site with lots of information and some interesting characters.

I'm on my second year of flyfishing for Trout. Got my start in Vermont with my brother who lives there. It's an amazing state and perfect for Trout flyfishing!

I've been trying to discover great opportunities in PA as well. Have you found any nice spots?

Nice to meet you, and best wishes for this season!

Where is Beford? What streams are in your neck of the woods?
Bedford is in south central PA, in between Pittsburgh and Philly. I fish a lot of streams around Bedford. The closest one is Yellow Creek, which is really nice when the crowds are down. I also fish the Little Juniata. Their are some other streams around that only the locals Know about that I fish a lot too. I do drive to a lot of streams that are within an hour. There's some potential around the area, that's for sure.

I fished the Little J last weekend and had a blast. I just got back Sunday from Kettle and Sinnemahoning, it could have been better, but still a good time. The bait fisherman were everywhere on Kettle and had the fish terrified. Someday we could meet up and hit the Little J.

thats cool I think if the little j is in good shape this saturday a buddy and i are going to hit that up and i think as long as everything goes as planned memorial day weekend a couple of us are going up and fish kettle and first fork, that would be cool let me know some time good fishing to ya
