Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!
Nice video, thanks. I was there yesterday, pretty much along the same area, caught four nice browns and had about four spit the hook. Nice couple hours of fishing. The water is low and a week of steady rain would help. Closing time for the Gorge is right around the corner.
In the 1950s western Bergen County was still undeveloped, and rural.
When I was a teen, I discovered a "secret" pond in the wilds of the northern Watchung Mountains (BIG BASS).
On the way to the pond, there was a beautiful "spring". I usually stopped to get a sip of that pure spring water.
One day I wandered off the path and discovered....
An old defunct cesspool about 60 feet uphill from the spring. :crap:
When i hunt in Colorado i always filter my water even though im surrounded by millions or acres of forest. Does a bear crap in the woods? Answer is yes, and so does every other animal and bird. Beaver feaver is nothing to take lightly and will take months to overcome.
