I am looking to trade a newer model T&T LPS II 9', 4 Wt, 4 piece, (gray color blank) for the previous model in a 4 wt , 3 piece (blue color blank).
Want to complete a set ranging from 3 wt to 6 wt.

I just like the LPS series, started with a 5w 9' and loved it, must be a good rod, I have never seen one used on ebay. Then got a 4 w 8 1/2 ' and loved it, bought a 6 wt on ebay for a good price but but never use it. Now I want the 4 in a 9' but prefer the former model, not the LPS II.

I dont buy high price rods anymore, ebay is the way to go, my theory is you can get an $800 rod for $300. I think you are paying for 2-1/2 rods when you pay those prices and may never need to replace it. If you buy on ebay and break the rod you just buy another and are still ahead. You might even get it repaired for a reasonable price that is better than buying a replacement on ebay. Never got a bad rod on Ebay.

I got to cast an lps 4 wt at shannons it was awesome. Too expensive for me. I've looked on e bay too I've seen blanks once or twice.

I definitely agree. I buy plenty at shannons I got both my st croixs there I just can't spend over $800 on a fly rod. Anywhere. Well I could...
