I got some new colors today..

It appears if you wax the thread, things don't twist as much, also, I have a feeling I am supposed to put two matching Golden Pheasant crests in there, but damn, one is A LOT easier, any tips on how to get them to match, without shooting off all different directions?

Looking good. Wax does help when mounting wings. Some patterns call for one crest others more. Freestyle do what you want. Get Michael raddenichs book salmon fly materials and tying. It is great and really helps you under stand every step to tying these flies. I feel the bugs is starting to bite you. Your journey begins now.

Ok, so I ordered the first of Radencich's book...Tying classic salmon flies...if the bug keeps biting, I will purchase the second...about the materials...Thanks again for the push in the right direction....
