Little Juniata River

Hello All: Have any of you folks fished the Little Juniata?? Located in Huntingdon County Pennsylvania

Dick,
I met up with you a year or two ago on the Little J. In fact I am coming out this Wednesday. If you want to hook up, myself and couple of guys from our TU chapter are meeting at the McDonald's in Huntingdon on Wednesday around noon. We will be fishing in the Little J on Wednesday and Spring and Fishing Creek the following two days. Is that below the bridge on the lower end?

HELLO JASON: Nice to hear from you, I will try to make it , but if I am not here at exactly 12 don't wait. Yes that is the pool below the bridge. Darned flys aren't hatching till 8:30 due to the heat, and thats a real bummer

Ive read about that stream many times, and have heard nothing but good things about it. Is that north central PA.? mark....

I always heard of that stream touted as one of the most unsung smallmouth streams in the U.S. Don't know much about the trout part of it.

I think its actually considered central Pennsylvania. The smallmouth are more well known in the Juniata River which is another branch.
