I have a great custom Sage fly for sale at tremendous savings. I built the rod and used top notch components. The rod was hardly used and in excellent condition. It is a Sage XP 596 2pc. Rec nickel silver seat and matching check. Wood insert is charcoal. Rec reversed half wells grip. One H&H #12 stripper. All other guides are Pac Bay chrome snakes. Tip top chrome H&H #4. Wraps are same color as the factory version XP 596. I sincerely believe the rod casts BETTER than the factory rod. Also included in the below price is a Sage green rod bag, green pvc case and priority shipping. Will accept cashiers check or money order. Well....no one seems interested yet. It could be gone by Spring? I DO believe my custom rod casts BETTER than the factory XP 596 2pc due to my guide spacing and guide sizes. I am selling this rod because I want to build another this winter and need some $$ for the blank. I'd like to build on the Winston boron IIx 9'6" 5wt 4pc. I've heard some great reports about this line of rods.

I have other rods that I enjoy fishing more than the Sage XP. My favorites are my custom St. Croix V 10' 5wt 4pc and St. Croix V 10' 6wt 4pc. I mostly fish upper Delaware waters and like the longer rod. On smaller waters I fish I'll use my custom Sage SLT 596 4pc. I would rather see someone enjoying the Sage XP that I'm attempting to sell than have it just sitting in the closet. At $325 it's a steal.......
