Images on Home Page

I notice when loading the home page that many times the small icons are not shown, instead the "missin icon" image is there.

I am using Internet Explorer at work and home and have the same results.

Awny ideas?

I often get this when coming to the site from work but never at home. I know the versions of IE i'm using are different. What version are you using at home vs. work?

At work it's IE 7.0.5730.11. I notice there is a "Error on Page" icon at the lower left of the browser window and when clicked says there is an error at Line 1, Char 1. Kind of wierd. It may be something with some HTML in the forum generator that IE is unable to parse. When I get home I wil check that version of IE.

Update: I see the icons at work, but I also saw the error. So it might be the IE versions. The error details are:
