Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

Everything was high and muddy on Monday so I decided to check out Black River. They most stock the living hell out of it. The water was fast with some nice deep holes. Caught about 10-11 12" stockies and that was with a couple of guys keepin everything they caught. Fish were coming up to the top for Bullet Head Hoppers and hit the holes deep with some Muddlers. The fishin was good all day up untill it got dark.

What is a "bullet head hoppers"?? Look it up and was not able to find reverance to it?

By the way, what is the biggest fish you have seen or heard of being pulled out of hacklebarney. Also, are there anything but Bows in there. Thats all I havee seen in it.

I've caught bows, browns, and brookies in there. I've mostly caught bows as well.

The biggest I caught was a 24" pig. It must have been a freshly stocked hen becasue it hardly put up any fight at all.

I caught it last fall in one of those deep pools farther down stream.

Nice thats a big fish, didn't think they stocked them that big in the public section. Went back this sunday and caught a nice brown and a nice little Native that most of washed out of the little trout streams. 5 inchs and he fought like a freakin big boy. Caught about 8 fish and all, love Hacklebarney when the water is fast.
