Giant Rusty Sedge - Fish them at night

Here's a pic of this large caddis - #8-10. They come off at dusk into the night. Fish a big, brown caddis pupa or low floating dry after the sulphurs have diminished. It's a Ptilostomis sp. for you bug nerds....

It was like a horror movie, the amount of bugs swirling in the glow of the Golden Arches last night, Ronald and the outside crew were cursing the bugs as I explained to them that these particular bugs are fantastic and there is nothing to worry about, they won't bite you....Spinners, caddis, Blue winged olives, and even a few crane flies (these ones creep them out the most, they think they are GIANT mosquitoes) in for good measure......:thumb:
