Now, admittedly, I'm the worst tier in this swap. Worse than TF, if you can believe that's possible, looking at the shit he shamelessly posts to this site.

But these other blokes agree to honestly fish my flies, right?

They ain't just gonna shave em down, and re-use the hook?

GB I hope NOT!!! The purpose of a fly swap is to get fellow tyers into tying flies and sharing them amounst the brotherhood. The swaps are suppose to be fun and to get one off there buts and tye flies a little better than they have done. I am quite sure GB that you have learned at least one positve thing with your tying and I bet limproved a littel to boot. The swap is not to make fun of any ones work but to swap flies and go and fish with them or start a colletion. Some people do both. We were all once new tyers and were in your shoes down the same road. So just relax, be proud of what you did. I know the more you tye and the more swaps you get into your flies will look better all the time. I know because I am speaking from experience.
