Dennis Watson ?

What the heck happened to Dennis Watson ? He was an interesting poster that gave great reports, intelligent insights and persuasive arguments. When the West Branch was low and hot this past June and July he posted that he was not going to fish this summer in deference to trout survival. It seems like he kept his word. I hope we hear from him this fall.

I spoke with him a few weeks ago. He's doing just fine. He hasn't fished the D in a long time. He's been pretty busy with his job but he's looking forward to getting back up to the D.

I have been reading everything you guys are saying and you sound like a great group. I would love to meet up and learn a "few" trade secrets of this sport. I live near Bethlehem PA. I am trying to get as much info as possible..but I still have to learn what a pseudo is! Thanks guys for all of the great comments and responses.

I'm thinking a saturdy maybe first in October. Just a group of guys fishing bamboo. Maybe a spring creek in PA or the gorge. More about casting rods than the actual fishing. Naw, the fishing would be more important.

Can I bring my bamboo zel... rod. It's made from a specail strain of boo call grahpacius fibrocious. It has a very distinctive gun metal color to it. Made by the fine West Coast Boo Rod maker George Lapian Xaviar. Perhaps you know him? The are not particulary fine rods as they sell for under $1,000 but great value. I am horribly attached to it!

Would like to hookup in October as well at the Spring Creeks in PA -- bringing my Bamboo Rods and a couple of cigars. Same cigars were designated for my 20" dream catches on Delaware -- but kept word.

You are a man of your word. It was a tough summer for the fish on the West and Main. There were long stretches of days that the water was great for swimming but awful for trout. The releases started very late this year. Good luck this fall.
