Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

Can be found on NJ/NY/PA waters!

First try at posting a picture - any comments or suggestions are welcome, especially on lighting. I used a lamp at about 45 degrees to the left of the fly, but perhaps another lamp to the right shining on the flywould have shown the rest of the colors better.

This fly is what I call a Copperhead, which is simply a copper bead head, copper ribbed hares ear. Like its cousin the the BHGRHE a great general fly which has worked great for me in the Spring and Fall. I also use it when I know Quill Gordons, Hendricksons, Blue Quills, or Isonychias are active.

The side lighting is good, but try to use a bit of fill flash on the front of the fly. Does wonders for really showing texture!
