Sweet catch today! You were surrounded by many anglers with years of experience over you, yet you alone caught and landed the new state record. I'm going to warn you about 2 things right off the bat now that you're famous, and that is 1) the film/flight crew were Israeli which means your catch is in the non-native category. But don't worry so much about that because our rivers are full of non-natives. It's # 2 that you have more worries about. Did you really need to use a strike indicator? Expect some heat over that. I'm sure a simple bright colored sighter would have sufficed and saved you the ridicule over the use of a friggin bobber.












The catch: A sweet 10 pound quadra-copter drone and one GoPro camera, a brand new NJ state record. Successfully fought out of the sky and into the river on a 5 weight!!!

It was quite then undertaking I must admit... It put up a good, albeit, brief fight before going belly up in an eddy....

And hey, if you had an Israeli drone surveilling your back cast wouldn't you take it out?!?!

They did not find the humor in the situation... It took a lot of self control for me not to ask them if I could take a picture of it on a stringer...
