Clean Up Pictures From Storm

New member
Well I gotten all the snow and downed trees cleaned up. The gutters are wide open so I did not bother to remove the snow from the roof. After all the work was completed I have taken some photos of my house and pictures around my neighborhood. I have also included some photo's of views up and down my road. Hoolywood. The snow blower is on order and should arive in April. Just can't wait to get it and put it in my shed and use it in about two years. But at least I will have one in case of this issue ever again. Please keep in mind that I live in Rancocas Woods section of Mount Laurel. To the left of my house and my backyard is Rancocas Woods State Forrest the far outskirts of the Pine Barrons.

Here is a few more of those winter pics. Keep in mind we have 36.5 inches of snow on the ground here since February 6, 2010.

Hi Andy,

I know what it's like and my heart goes out to you. I know what it takes to deal with snows like that. Such snow falls are common up here in the Adirondacks. That's why I own a 4 Ft wide, dual wheel snow blower that can slice through great depths. It can traverse my 300ft drive and in 2 passes--it's done. I can't imagine just shoveling it like you are..(although I've done that, too!).

I don't wish it on you...but must admit we've had a break this year, for a change. we gave it all to you! In a normal winter here we would have 3 Ft on the ground right now. I think I have about a Ft is all. We can't buy a storm this year. Make sure you clean off 3ft back, with a snow rake, off the edge of your roof. You don't want any ice dams and water leaking in (done that, too)

I'm getting ready to Tap trees next week...and normally I have to put on the Shoes. For the first time, just snow packs will do.

Stay safe, rest...and take to your tying table...and pump out all those fine flies--

MV

Andy -

If you're that close to state forest, you can't be too far from creek. Did you get clobbered with the floods when the dams burst few years back?

Now, That's FUNNY

Were missing some snow in the Adirondacks. Has anybody seen our snow?:rofl::rofl:

people are complaining down here about paying up front for driveway plowing and not getting their moneys worth this year, lol.
