Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

Beadssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!

To start out, I've used beads this fall, just not in the Fly-Zone (which I have largely avoided for the crowds). Heaven help me for I have sinned.

The color thing works for flies too. My favorite winter egg patterns are apricot, pale chartreuse to yellow, and a white to cream dead egg color. Hve to tie up some honey colored ones. If a color is killing them for beads, plugs, spinners, or spawn sacks it's probably a good idea to put on a fly of that color.

Jeff,

Got that right! Make sure the honey is more of a whiteish yellow, than a yellow...the color of "butter" particularly, not to be confused with GLSHC "bead and butter" bead, which is also a KILLER

New colors and a fresh write up for those inquiring minds.

Please stay tuned.

Everyone welcome, purists welcomed even more.

You really should write a book on beading. Maybe the Beetle could write the foreword

Macmillan Publishers has agreed to publish my book titled "Plastic: The new feather"

CTobias will head the section on 'Snagging' while Beetle will be in charge of writing the section on why Jews' noses are so large (Because air is free) and how that effects one during a prolific hatch.
I was going to ask Aaron Jaspers if he would write the section on 'How to fish beads on the WB of The Delaware', but last time that was brought up, he ran to go hide while his friend tried to defend him.

Either way, look for the book to come out to a fly shop and Church lobby near you!
