Hey Dennis,
I'm working on getting a picture that's worthy of becoming an avatar. Maybe a steelhead if I make this holiday trip to Erie. If not, maybe this April the planets will align in such a way the moment a fly of mine hits the West Branch and I will have something... If not, I'm going to lurk around in the bushes when Joe T or MUlrichs are fishing and net THEIR fish and snap a quick picture. If they object on ethical grounds, there is always the Midnight Poacher. We haven't met, but he seems to have the right kind of ethical ambiguities within him that if I pass him a few $ he may oblige me with a stunner of a fish.

Yeah he did make a good choice willow. You know brookies are my favorite fish. Wouldn't mind him slappin a brookie up there under my name, but it seems that there are too many of the same brook trout under people's names. Wouldn't mind if you put a brookie up there for me Dennis....or a Royal Wulff fly. It's my signature fly and my handle on all the sites.

He's already covered Allan, but thankx for the offer. Your Avatar is totally cool. "I just like to watch." LOL. Actually i remember you showing me that before, but i didn't know J.P. did the artwork. Very cool. I have that on your card in my gallery. By the way, is J.P. ever gonna make a meeting? I have quite a few of his flies in the gallery (CFTG collection) but have never met him. Was good to see your ole' buddie Bill again at the meeting. He's a real good guy. Has he ever got that tool makin' thing off the ground? mark

Not that anyone would interpret it any differently but I just want to clarify something. There is nothing vulgar meant in this 'avatar'. It's simply to imply that, 'if the imitation is good enough to fool a male of the an insect species, then the imitation should be able to fool even a finicky trout'.
