So what does it mean to be "One of the best fly fishermen in the world"? Give me your top 10 reasons followed by your list of the top 10 fly fishermen.

Let me help you with the list. I'm going to be very humble about this and put myself as number 2 instead of where I should be... #1.

3. Does not have to dress the part
4. Dosent care if people know him at the Somerset Show
5. Dosent have to tell everyone how much they know about the Delaware
6. Can cast without having to use a Triangle Taper line
7. Can nymph with out having to use a special "nymph" rod
8. Can put up with Beetle
9. Can put up with Mac
10. Can fish with both Mac and Beetle on the same day in the same hole and stop them from killing each other

There is no such thing...fishing is a personal experience and is different for everyone who does it....if you make lists like this you should drown yourself and drag your dead body down the east branch behind your drift boat so the whole world can view the world's largest boob...in fact we should make road signs like the one for the largest ball of string.....anyway, I am the greatest at everything so just give up now!!!

Keeping score is for children's fishing contests, the IGFA, and the BASS circuit...
IMHO, it's NOT what flyfishing is about.

Having said that, if I have to choose someone, I need to look at the numbers.
I only know of one guy who "keeps score", and publishes his records.

You moved to Alaska where you can just reach down in the water and grab a fish. You moved because the fishing was to challenging here. That is why you did not make the list.

2- Can fish in the wind
3- Not taken out of the game when small flies are required
4- Doesn't rely on the 10 minutes before dark window to catch fish
5- knowledgeable on targeting multiple species of fish
6- Does not fish the same stretches of water that they are comfortable fishing/know well
7- over the numbers game and selective on larger fish
8- can fish multiple methods well
9- sees/spots fish well
10-consistently accurate distance caster
