Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

what I done

I have a friend who swears by the LL Bean warranty. I think he has sent back a pair of waders twice, and they came back either new or repaired. And quickly.

I sent a rod tip that broke back, and they sent me a new one...

Great company.

Liar liar pants on fire.

So, not that anyone cares, but both my waders and my boots have officially kicked the bucket. Actually, to be precise, both have kicked the bucket twice. I repaired the boots once and then they literally started falling apart in the river a couple of weeks back. And I patched the waders, but every seam is now springing a leak.

Thus ends my experiment with cheap ass Orvis gear. Just ordered a pair of Simms boots to go with my leaky waders, and there are some G3s in my not-so-distant future as well. I'll have to see how long I can tolerate the leaks. When the water warms up, it's less objectionable.

G3's are the shit, although if I were you, I'd just wear shorts, it'll help put the dick smoke out.
